If you "knee"d an update
We went to Anthony's doctor today, and things are looking good. He can now start to put pressure on it, but still needs to take it easy. He will have to start swimming, biking, or doing the elliptical for low-impact physical therapy. Also, we got him some more narcotics so he can deal with break-through pain and get some good sleep at night. Now, if we can just get Tanner over his cold things will be great here.

Easter Egg Hunt
On Saturday there was a community Easter egg hunt at the elementary school just a couple of blocks from our house, so we thought it would be fun to take the kids. Tyson was so funny, he ran to the first piece of candy he saw, then stopped and tried to open it and eat it. Then he was done. He didn't understand the whole concept of trying to pick up as much candy and eggs that he could. Anyway, here are a few pics of that.

Rough Weekend
Well, Anthony got his knee surgery done on Friday. He was at the hospital for most of the day. He was so funny coming out of anesthesia, he kept asking me the same questions over and over. It's like we had the same conversation repeated three times. Anyway, he thought it was just going to be a simple knee scope and that he would be able to walk out of the hospital. Boy was he wrong! They were able to repair his meniscus by putting three pins in it to hold it together, and he is exclusively on crutches for 4 weeks! He can't put any pressure on his right leg whatsoever, so I am his chauffeur and his personal assistant until he heals up. It is driving him crazy to have to sit on the couch all day with his leg up, and today he went back to work. The nurse said ideally people normally take at least a week off of work, but of course that is not possible in Anthony's job. He has been in quite a bit of pain, so I hope soon he will start feeling better. Then to add to the chaos, Tanner has four front teeth coming in at once, and so he has been miserable and is dealing with a cold on top of that. Also, not to leave Tyson out, he woke up on Saturday morning saying that his ear hurt, and he has been coughing at night. Then in the middle of the night on Saturday, Tyson was burning up with a fever. Needless to say, none of us went to church on Sunday. I can't tell if Tyson really is sick or if he has sympathy pains for Anthony because he tells me a different part of his body hurts about every hour. Hopefully, everyone in my little family can return to good health soon, or I will become a zombie mom from lack of sleep and the constant ringing of crying, whining, miserable boys. (the server won't let me post pictures, so I will try again later).

Simple Joys
Do you ever have a moment where all of the sudden it just hits you, and you realize how blessed you are? This happened to me yesterday in church during the sacrament hymn. Tyson was sitting on my lap and all of a sudden he just started singing the hymn right along with me. He tried so hard to sing good and it was just the cutest thing ever. It is simple little things like that that bring me joy. Another simple little thing is my little plant shelf. I planted this ivy a couple weeks ago and it is really growing good, so that brings me joy because I am far from having a green thumb.

Need your input
I bought this purse this week and I think it is a way fun, cute color that will add just the right amount of pop to my fairly bland wardrobe. However, I am a little iffy on the color. Is it too outrageous? Let me know what you think. I haven't taken the tag off yet, becuase I wanted to wait on it a few days to see if I could handle it.
