Big Day

Well, the day we have been waiting for for 7 months has finally arrived. Anthony's hotel finally officially opened today. Anthony is really excited and I think he will do great as a manager. If any of you are in the area, stop by and he will give you a tour of the La Quinta. I think they will have a
Grand opening in March sometime. Hopefully, after things get running smoothly, I can have my husband back. He has been putting in 60+ hours a week trying to get the hotel ready to open.

Here is Tanner. He is getting so big. He sits up so well and is starting to get up on his knees. He is a fun little guy, except for when he is teething right now...he gets a little fussy.

These cars are the root of all Tyson's (and especially my) problems. He has to have the cars with him at all times, and he even has to sleep with them. If he sets one down and can't find it, he cries until we find it. Since he has more cars than he does hands, he always sticks one under his chin to carry it around. The red car isn't even his...it is his cousin Caleb's, and I think that is why it is his favorite. Somewhere, probably in nursery, he learned how to say, "mine" and now he says that car is "mine." Maybe, sometime soon they will all just disappear so he will quit whining all the time about his cars!!

Minor Mishaps

This past week we had a few minor mishaps: Tanner took his first dive off our bed. Luckily, when he hit his head on the nightstand it flipped him so he landed sitting up. He is perfectly okay. I got a hair cut, and the chic chopped my bangs so short that I was embarrassed to leave the house for a week. One more week and they might look presentable. Anthony's license expired on Tuesday, and he got pulled over on Thursday...he got off with a warning. And last, but not least, Tyson got a 12 hour bug and threw up all over in my car, on my couch, and in his bed. He feels fine now. So, nothing major. Things like this keep our lives interesting.
